About ogerd
Inventory
management
done right
ogerd is a structured learning platform built for e-commerce operators who need to understand stock systems properly - not just get a general overview.
Where the platform came from
In 2016, a small group of logistics consultants noticed that most e-commerce operators were managing stock reactively - reordering when shelves emptied rather than tracking demand patterns. The gap wasn't tools, it was understanding.
ogerd started as a single in-person seminar in Canberra. The format worked because it was specific: real warehouse scenarios, real supplier lead times, real stockout consequences.

regional delivery points
Moving online in 2020 allowed ogerd to reach participants in regional areas who previously had no access to structured inventory training. The format shifted but the depth didn't.
Each seminar is built around a specific operational problem - demand forecasting, reorder point calculation, multi-location stock allocation - rather than broad topic areas. Participants leave with something they can apply the following week.
The people who run sessions
Every facilitator at ogerd has worked inside an e-commerce operation before moving into training. Operational experience is a prerequisite, not a bonus - participants ask specific questions and need specific answers.
Sessions are kept small deliberately. Groups of 12–18 allow for real discussion rather than passive listening, which is where most of the useful learning happens.
Tarquin Osei
Lead Facilitator
Spent 8 years managing stock for a mid-size outdoor retailer before joining ogerd. Runs the demand forecasting series.
Brigid Nkrumah
Curriculum Designer
Builds the scenario frameworks used across all seminars. Background in supply chain analytics for FMCG distribution.
Piotr Szymański
Regional Coordinator
Manages delivery across WA, SA, and NT. Coordinates with local industry groups to keep content regionally relevant.
Yewande Adisa
Participant Support
First point of contact for enrolment and scheduling questions. Also facilitates the post-session discussion groups.
Scenario-first structure
Every session opens with a real operational problem. Theory follows once participants have a concrete situation to attach it to.
Peer exchange built in
Structured discussion time is part of every seminar - not optional. Participants from different retail categories often surface the most useful comparisons.
Depth over breadth
ogerd does not run introductory overviews. Each seminar assumes basic familiarity and moves into the detail that general courses skip.
